Am 8.9.2015 fand in Berlin die Konferenz „MOOCs and Beyond“ statt. Der Co-Veranstalter oncampus hatte mich eingeladen, für einen Tag seinen Twitteraccount zu übernehmen und die Tagung darüber live zu begleiten. Das habe ich mit Tweets, Fotos und Stegreif-Videos getan, was im Folgenden dokumentiert ist.
Ganz unten sind meine 97 Tweets des Tages, Fotos und Retweets inklusive, zu finden. Davor stehen neun Videos, die ich via Periscope produziert habe. (Periscope ist ein Dienst von Twitter, der einfach und schnell Live-Videos vom Smartphone in die Welt sendet.) Da bei der Tagung alles, was auf der Bühne passierte, mit einem „offiziellen“ Stream gesendet wurde, habe ich mich bei den Periscope-Videos auf kurze Eindrücke am Rande und Stegreif-Interviews mit anwesenden Protagonisten konzentriert. Dabei ist nicht alles so gelaufen wie geplant, dazu unter den Videos ein kritische Selbsteinschätzung.

Selbstkritik
Vieles aus der Ankündigung zum Live-Ticker liess sich nicht umsetzen. Insbesondere gab es kaum Interaktion mit Welt jenseits der Konferenz und nur wenige Elemente aus der Veranstaltung selbst. Für beides gibt es eine gemeinsame Ursache: Das WLAN vor Ort war nur morgens früh ausreichend, als es noch kaum jemand nutzte. Spätestens zu Veranstaltungsbeginn war es damit vorbei. Auch der Mobilfunk-Emfpang im Veranstaltungsraum war nicht der Rede wert. So kam es, dass der reguläre Livestream quasi nicht nutzbar war, also niemand die Veranstaltung von außen verfolgen und entsprechend auch nicht nennenswert interagieren konnte. Für Tweets und Videos musste man zwecks gutem Mobilfunk vor die Tür wechseln, was das Format auch nicht gerade abwechslungsreicher machte.
Fazit
Das hat Spaß gemacht, habt aber auch Luft nach oben!
